At In Tandem, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their potential. We work alongside each person and their support network, building on individual strengths and providing practical, respectful therapy focused on the goals that matter most.
Our Services
We are a mobile Occupational and Speech Therapy service providing assessments and therapy sessions across Northern NSW in homes, schools, childcare centres and community settings.
Occupational Therapy
Build independence in daily activities. We support people to develop practical skills and strategies through fun, engaging, functional activities tailored to their individual goals.
Therapeutic Groups
Develop practical life skills through fun, engaging holiday group programs that build confidence, independence and social connection.
Speech Therapy
Supporting individuals and their networks to communicate, connect and participate in a way that highlights their own unique strengths and interests.Â
Assessment
We provide a wide selection of clinical assessments including Functional Capacity Assessments and NDIS reports.

Integrating circus arts to foster emotional, social and physical growth within a caring, encouraging therapeutic group setting.
Meet the Team
Alice Harland
Bodine Pithey
Speech Therapist
Alice is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with many years of experience supporting children, adults and families.
She holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (first class Honours) from the University of Newcastle.

Born and raised in the beautiful Northern Rivers, Alice is proud to continue calling the region home and to support individuals and families within the community she grew up in.
Alice has a strong background in disability, having previously worked in disability support and integration support roles before becoming a Speech Pathologist. This experience has shaped her practical, person-centred and collaborative approach to therapy.

She is passionate about creating meaningful, individualised therapy that supports people to build communication skills and confidence in their everyday lives.
Occupational Therapist
Bo, is an experienced occupational therapist who has supported children, families and people with disability since qualifying with BSc in Occupational Therapy in the UK in 2013. Her experience spans paediatric, disability and community-based services in the UK and Australia, and she is now proud to provide therapy to families across the Northern Rivers.

Bo’s background in movement, circus and the performing arts brings creativity and fun to her practice. She takes a family-centred, strengths-based approach, using play, movement and meaningful activities to support children and young people to reach their potential.
Â
Bo also incorporates circus arts in one-to-one and group sessions to develop coordination, body awareness, confidence, communication, social connection and emotional wellbeing. Above all, she aims to make therapy enjoyable, practical and relevant to every child’s everyday life.

Funding & Support
NDIS Funding
In Tandem Therapy Services supports clients with NDIS funding who are Plan Managed or Self Managed.
Our current hourly therapy rate is $193.99 for Occupational and Speech Therapy NSW, and is in line with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.Â

Private Funding
In Tandem Therapy also welcomes private-paying clients. You do not need NDIS funding to access therapy.
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible to claim a rebate for some therapy services. In Tandem Therapy Services will provide a receipt following payment, which can be submitted to your health fund.
Rebates and eligibility vary between insurers, so we recommend checking with your private health fund before booking an appointment.
